Description:

Our company is currently recruiting for fresh Norwegian speaking with English knowledge to work in Social Media (Facebook Twitter, etc.) on behalf of a prestigious airline. The location will be Dubai (United Arab Emirates). This is a fantastic opportunity for motivated graduates or youth after school to kick-start their career within tourism and social media while enjoying the sunshine and tax free salary.

Within guidelines set by IGT and the airline Head Office (E-Commerce/Social Media department) the Social Media Representative solves and answers any queries and questions coming from customers worldwide about the products offered by the airline and Frequent Flyer Program, as well as about the brand itself through the different Social Media channels within the service portfolio.

In doing so in a friendly and efficient way increases both customer satisfaction and turnover. Furthermore the Social Media Representative looks for improvements in the systems and processes and takes further action where needed. Besides the Social Media Agent assists and supports other service centers contracted by airline both technically and on the engagement aspect of the Social Media communication

Tasks

1. Customer services

As an engaged representative for airline the Social Media Representative answers questions coming in through various communication channels. He gives general information, support and service in an effective and engaged way primarily to customers in order to achieve customer satisfaction via the different Social Media channels.

2. Commercial (Reservations & sales)

The Social Media Representative gives information to the airline customers on flight fares, availability and schedule. He recognizes sales leads and act upon them. He explains advantages of airline over competitive airlines. He searches for alternatives if the customers initial wish cannot be fulfilled in order to conclude a sale and to increase turnover for airline

3. Online reputation management/engagement

The Social Media Representative monitors the different Social Media channels in order to ensure that the online reputation of airline stays in line with the desired brand position within the set guidelines.

4. Marketing

The Social Media Representative is responsible for the process of gaining website traffic or attention through social media. His work is to create answers that attracts attention and encourages readers to share it with their social networks. This form of marketing is driven by word-of-mouth, meaning it results in earned media rather than paid media.

Requirements

Good writing skills in language
University/Degree educated (not a must)
Language mother tongue and average level of English
Good understanding of social media platforms such as Facebook, Youtube, Twitter, Flickr Google+ etc,
Ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and verbal format, and build and maintain relationships
Customer orientation
